We started with three guitars and no bass, but Martin returned home to swap his instrument and some balance was restored to the line-up. Newbie Matthew sat in on drums and percussion and did a splendid job. Jon had a bit of trouble with a pedal of his, which augmented our sound with sudden bursts of sonic attack. Makes a change from me. Perhaps our best lyrical content came from Jean-Michel, who read from the label on his bottle of beer ...
