Martin dug out a different amp and cab from the old faithful bass cab and played through that, revealing that the zone equipment isn't as dodgy as we had assumed. I was drummer elect, in the absence of a proper drummer, so I concentrated on maintaining a steady beat. Jean-Michel had a play too, battling with the hi-hat. We even had a go at keeping pace with Alberto's machine ...
